My Process

Every client and every story is unique — and your photo session should be too. As a natural light photographer based in Parker, Colorado, I offer fully personalized photography experiences for families, couples, seniors, and more throughout the Denver Metro and Front Range, including Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, Centennial, Aurora, Boulder, and Colorado Springs. My process is designed to make you feel confident, comfortable, and truly seen — from our first conversation to the final gallery delivery. I take the time to understand your vision and tailor each session to reflect your personality, milestones, and style. Before the Session

It is important for me to get to know my clients beforehand through a questionnaire and an initial phone call or google meet.
Music- part of your questionnaire will ask you about your favorite type of music. Before our session, I will make a custom playlist to play during our shoot.
Before the session, I will provide guidance on outfit choices, location, and answer any questions you may have.

During the Session

During the session, I will help put you at ease by guiding your poses. I will use music, jokes, stories, or anything needed to get the best pictures of my clients. Your customized playlist will help you relax and focus on the moment, not the camera.
Not all pictures I take will be posed. Candid photos are some of the best representations of ourselves. I capture those moments you don't know are happening; the ones where the sister gives her brother a kiss on the cheek, or a husband sweeps away a piece of his wife's hair.

After the Session

My goal is to get your finished product as quickly as possible. I will keep you up-to-date on my turnaround time after your session.
I will lightly edit your images. This includes: smoothing skin, removing blemishes, enhancing eyes, and whitening teeth. If you are looking for more edits, please refer to my contract about costs for additional editing.
Once your photos are edited, I will give you access to your gallery online where you can pick your favorite images to download.

FAQ

How long does it take to get my photographs back after the session?

My goal is to get you your beautiful finished product as quickly as possible. Turnaround will typically be less than 3 weeks. I will let you know in a follow-up email after our session what my turnaround time is for your specific session. Need your images quicker than 3 weeks? I do have a rush option for an additional $50 for your session.

Will you travel outside of Parker?

Yes! Travel fees will be assessed on an individual basis and how far I have to travel.

Can I pick my location for pictures?

I have a wide range of locations in my portfolio that I have vetted. These places have great lighting, limited distractions, and we have access to them during our needed sessions.

If there is a specific place you would like to use, please let me know and we will discuss further.

Can I bring my dog?

Absolutely! I understand that families come in every shape and size and I love working with fur babies!

What should I wear to the photo shoot?

I love giving guidance on what looks good in photographs! All of my sessions include a style guide and Style & Select tool to help make outfit planning a breeze. For full sessions, I offer a GoogleMeet if you would like to conference about outfits beforehand.

Do you do referrals?

YES!!!! Happy clients are the best advertising! If you refer a new client to me and they book a session, you get a choice of $25 off your next session or your full gallery for free.
